Home Health Aide

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and caring Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team and provide high-quality, compassionate care to clients in the comfort of their homes. We assist clients with daily activities and support their independence and well-being. Compassionate Hands Home Healthcare provides skilled nursing services to medically complex pediatric and adult patients, enhancing clients' quality of life and life expectancy.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to the supervising nurse.
• Follow the care plan and document daily activities and services provided.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a state‑approved Home Health Aide training program.
• Current HHA certification (if required by your state).
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
