Job Summary

BJC Health Care System is hiring a PRN Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for our Heart and Vascular Center of Excellence at Memorial Hospital Belleville (Belleville, IL). New graduates, upcoming graduates, and experienced sonographers welcome to apply.

PRN Schedule (work as needed) – Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM). No Call.

• RDCS Registry (required)
• Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency
• High School Diploma or GED (required)

• Echocardiographer
• Echocardiography Technologist
• Cardiac Sonographer
• Echo Tech
• Associate’s Degree (preferred)
• Allied Health/Sonography (preferred)
• 2 years experience (preferred)
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification (preferred)

• Performs tests and procedures at various locations.
• Maintains accurate patient logs.
• Updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer.
• Maintains cardiac lab patient files.
