Role Overview
The Registered Vascular Sonographer performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations, including carotid, peripheral, abdominal, venous, and arterial studies, to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include conducting imaging procedures independently, ensuring equipment readiness, and documenting procedures accurately. The role may involve performing vascular procedures and working on-call, portable exams, or at various sites.
Qualifications & Skills- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher)
- ARDMS or CCI registered RVS or RVT certification
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in vascular imaging or related fields
- Knowledge of vascular ultrasound techniques and equipment
- Ability to perform procedures independently and work in a team environment
- Perform vascular ultrasound imaging and ensure proper documentation
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
- Conduct exams on adult and pediatric patients, including on-call and portable studies
- Ensure equipment functionality and readiness
