Occupational Therapist – Acute Care

Seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to deliver skilled therapy services within an acute care setting. Experience with diverse caseloads in ortho, neuro, general medicine, and ICU is preferred.

• Establishes treatment plans considering discharge needs, functional status, and required equipment.
• Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making referrals as needed.
• Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students based on their competency levels.
• Completes documentation in line with departmental policies.
• Provides assessments, reassessments, and consultations for occupational therapy services.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required;
  Master’s preferred.
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• No prior experience required, but supervision experience is not mandatory.

Conduct evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, educate patients and staff, delegate appropriately, and ensure thorough documentation.
