Job Description Summary

JOB PURPOSE Based on the activities assigned by his/her superiors, the technical expert contributes his/her technical expertise to the operational teams in order to guarantee a good level of equipment maintenance and repair, and thus contribute to customer satisfaction.

SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES

• Technical support
  - Provide technical support (diagnostics, repairs, installations, etc.) for operational teams
• Help install equipment on customer sites
• Feed the technical database and business tools
• Be a preferred technical contact for suppliers (requests for technical documents, field support, etc.)
• Respond to requests and provide technical support to internal stakeholders (warranty teams, design office, sales, marketing, etc.)
• Communication
  - Produce technical bulletins for operational teams, based on supplier documentation
• Draft and distribute upgrade programs, in compliance with internal procedures, based on an analysis of the manufacturer programs received
• Products
  - Contribute to the listing of new products and support internal stakeholders (introduction, launch, etc.)
• Monitor products (applications, functionalities, etc.)
• Training
  - Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical training offerings, based on operational needs

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE FOR ACTION

• Act as a technical reference for internal stakeholders and guarantee technical support
• Monitor implementation of upgrade programs
• Ensure compliance of workstations and tools (vehicle, tools, etc.)
• Know and strictly apply health and safety rules (personal protective equipment, procedures, etc.)
• Know and strictly apply environmental rules (sorting, anti-contamination, etc.)
• Know and apply internal and external compliance procedures and rules

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE

Diploma(s) and/or experience(s) 2 years' higher education in maintenance, mechanics or electrical engineering and/or 5 years' significant experience preferred

Specific knowledge(s)

• Technical skill(s) - Knowledge in-depth in the field technical (mechanical, electrical electrical engineering, hydraulics, etc.)
• General knowledge of products (ranges, functionalities, etc.)
• General knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations
• General knowledge of IT tools and information systems
• Advanced intermediate level in English (B2)
