Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial status.
- Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical orders.
- Prioritize and organize care based on patients' acuity and needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor for any adverse reactions or side effects.
- Perform procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, catheterization, and other nursing interventions.
- Monitor vital signs, laboratory values, and other relevant indicators to assess patient status.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Provide resources and information to support patients' recovery and well-being after discharge.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes.
- Adhere to established protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and prevent healthcare-associated infections
