Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical, surgical, critical and emergency care, including pediatric emergency services. It provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services and is a Magnet‑recognized nursing excellence organization. The RN Med Surg / Telemetry position provides direct patient care activities within the guidelines of nursing standards.

• Promotes patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and their families on illness management, post‑treatment home care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Participates in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with interprofessional team members, patients, families or caregivers.
• Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
• Assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs.
• Maintains constant alertness in a safety‑sensitive environment.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Experience:
  
  None required.
• Licensure:
  Current RN license.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Telemetry experience.
• BSN differential.

• Up to $7,500 Sign‑On Bonus.
