Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Internal Medicine - $32-48 per hour

Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Internal Medicine (Part Time).

Location:

Belleville, Illinois.

Responsibilities
  • Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
  • Educates patients and their families on managing illness or injury, including post‑treatment home care needs and medication administration.
  • Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Participates in professional development.
  • Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient or caregiver, in accordance with established guidelines and standards of nursing care.
  • Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
  • Assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and performs all duties in a safe manner – this is a safety‑sensitive position.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (no experience required).
  • Licensure:
    Current RN license.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Preferred:
    Med/Surg experience.
  • No supervisor experience required.
