Registered Nurse; RN - Pre​/Post Cath Lab

Memorial Hospital Belleville offers an RN Pre/Post Cath Lab position. This role focuses on delivering direct patient care activities, including assessment, education, and care planning within the Cardiac Cath Lab setting.

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on illness management and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Proactively plans and ensures communication of care plans across the continuum of care.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
• Assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific needs.
• Maintains a constant state of alertness and performs tasks in a safe manner; this is a safety‑sensitive position.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Licensure: RN in the state of Illinois.

• ED or telemetry experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Less than 2 years of experience.
