Advanced Practice Provider - Pre-admission Testing Center

Position Details

• Schedule:
  
  Flexible 8‑hour days
• No weekends, no call, no holidays
• NP must independently manage complex pre‑op assessments, including chart reviews, ordering labs, EKGs and clearances.
• Strongly preferred:
  Cardiac background
• Preferred:
  Background in surgery and some cardiac knowledge, EKGs.

• Manages the health care of select patient populations through advanced health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation.
• Participates in professional development.
• Assesses development needs of staff and develops and delivers appropriate educational programs to meet staff needs.
• Coordinates the care of select patient populations to ensure promotion of health and wellness through education of patients and families, coordination of services and placing referrals.
• Develops treatment plans and treats patients with acute problems following a predetermined protocol.

• Education:
  
  Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited NP program.
• Experience:
  
  None required;
  Nursing experience preferred.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Nurse Practitioner, RN.

• Education:
  
  Doctorate in Nursing.
• Experience:
  
  2–5 years as an NP.
