Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Dedicated 1:1 Student Support

AOS Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide dedicated one-on-one care for a 5-year-old student in a supportive school environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working with children and wants to have a direct impact on a student's health, safety, and success throughout the school day.

Schedule & Compensation Current School Year Start date of August 3,2026
  • Monday–Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 3:30pm
Pay Rate
  • $25.00 per hour
Position Overview

As the student's dedicated nurse, you will provide individualized healthcare support while helping the student safely participate in daily classroom activities. You'll work closely with school staff and the student's family to ensure consistent, high-quality care in a positive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one nursing care throughout the school day.
  • Monitor the student's health status and overall well-being.
  • Perform tracheotomy clearance and related care as needed.
  • Respond promptly to health and safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with school personnel and family members to support the student's success.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow established care plans.
  • Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment.
Qualifications
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients preferred.
  • Comfortable and confident performing tracheotomy care.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and attentive to student needs.
Pre-Employment Requirements

Selected candidates must successfully complete:

  • Fingerprint-based background check
  • Drug screening (if applicable)
  • All required school district onboarding requirements
