Memorial Care Center

Provides patient care related support, including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety services directed by Charge Nurse and following departmental guidelines. Records data accurately in patient charts, performs rounds, turns and repositions residents, collects vital signs, manages slings/splints, measures intake/output, performs procedures such as sitz baths and moist packs, and maintains unit supplies. Works cooperatively with team members, maintains confidentiality, and reports to Charge Nurse at shift change.

Pay Range: $16.08 - $25.24 per hour

CNA

• High school diploma preferred
• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state of employment
• CPR certification, or willing to obtain within six months
• Long‑term care experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Time‑management and organizational abilities
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift heavy objects using proper techniques with assistance when necessary
• Ability to transfer and move patients, including those weighing 200+ lbs
• Ability to push and pull equipment weighing in excess of 40 lbs
• Manual dexterity and coordination
• Ability to document in writing or use tape recorder
• Visual acuity sufficient to distinguish color
