Yes — 3 out of 6 weeks
Guaranteed hours: 36 hrs/week (3x12) or 48 hrs/week (4x12)
Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
State license: IL license in hand required at time of submittal
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NIH/NIHSS
Experience with CRRT/CVVHD, hypothermia protocols, ventilator management, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, IABP, and post-cardiac surgery care preferred
Familiarity with Swan-Ganz preferred
Ability to assist with line insertion/intubation
Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting for critically ill patients
Monitor vital signs and manage ventilators and other support systems
Administer medications and therapies as prescribed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families regarding care plans and post-discharge needs
Participate in the implementation of protocols and quality improvement initiatives
Max 7 days RTO; no RTO allowed first week
All RTO must be finalized at submission
