Med Surg (3 South) Registered Nurse Opportunity

Memorial Hospital Belleville is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Three South Medical/Surgical Unit. This full-time night position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500, competitive pay, benefits eligibility, and shift differentials.

The Three South Medical/Surgical Unit is a 19-bed unit providing medical/surgical services for the hospital. It operates on a 24-hour basis.

The role purpose is to provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.

Responsibilities include promoting patient and family-centered care, educating patients and their families, participating in activities that promote patient safety and quality, developing and implementing individual plans of care, and using critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate patient needs.

Minimum requirements include a nursing diploma or associate's degree and no prior experience. Preferred requirements include a bachelor's degree in nursing and less than 2 years of experience.
