Med Surg Nurse - Night Shift

Role

Provides direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
• Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engages in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.
• Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
• Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safety.

• RN license required
• Diploma or Associate's in Nursing;
  Bachelor's preferred
• No experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher qualifications

Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
