High Risk Cardiac Nurse

Role

Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

• Promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and post-treatment needs, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patient/family.

• RN license required; BSN degree preferred.
• Experience in cardiac/telemetry, med/surg, or related areas is advantageous.
• Must be able to work safely in a safety-sensitive environment and possess strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

• Assess patient needs holistically, communicate care plans effectively, evaluate emotional, psychosocial, and cultural factors, and participate in professional development activities.
