Part Time Cardiac Nurse

This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. It emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, education on illness management, and safety initiatives. The role requires developing and documenting individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.

It is a safety-sensitive position demanding constant alertness.

• Minimum:
  Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN licensure
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and 2+ years of experience
• Telemetry/Cardiac experience and BSN are advantageous

• Promote quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Educate patients and families on care and medication management
• Collaborate with team members to develop and communicate care plans
• Assess patient needs holistically and respect individual preferences
