The Quality & Compliance Leader serves as a member of the Quality team by leading efforts associated with Vista Care’s compliance and quality improvement programs and initiative to multiple programs in multiple states.
Duties and Responsibilities- Leads continuous quality improvement, training, and accreditation/licensure/survey/policies in IDD service and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluates and identifies key drivers for systemic deficiencies, and takes a systematic, comprehensive, and data-driven approach to maintaining and improving safety and quality.
- Oversees committee functions for assigned regions.
- Completes and/or directs the investigation process, including immediate debriefs, investigation tracking, root cause analysis, corrective action follow-up, final debriefs, and remediation monitoring closure.
- Prepares and coordinates activities for all external audits, external surveys, state compliance reviews, and corrective action planning related to findings.
- Completes and/or directs the completion of internal monitoring activities, including mock surveys, program snapshots, environmental reviews, on‑site visits, and compliance monitoring to identify areas of opportunity.
- Completes and/or directs the completion of satisfaction surveys and quality of life surveys.
- Monitors EHR and quality management system utilization and compliance; analyzes incident trends, medication errors, investigations, and operational data to inform and improve services.
- Completes and/or directs the completion of policy and/or addendums for assigned regions.
- Compiles and analyzes data for regions as requested, including dashboards, incident trends, investigation findings, and operational performance indicators.
- Prepares and facilitates weekly operational quality meetings.
- Achieve performance competence.
- Performs quality reviews across all programs, analyzes data, and identifies trends in defects or errors as well as indicators of high quality and success.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of and implementation experience of process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to handle complex issues and problems.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
- Provide knowledgeable leadership and coaching to operations and quality team members.
- Self‑motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and clear driving record in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Vista Care’s best practices required if position requires transport of persons served in a company owned vehicle. Authorization must be provided to Vista Care to obtain a DMV record which can be approved for coverage by our company insurance carrier.
- Successful completion of a caregiver background check and required.

Education- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- A college, or university degree or the equivalent is required. Social services or similar fields preferred. However, five (5) or more years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
