Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Merchandising
Responsibilities
The Customer Service Associate/Loader assists customers by loading merchandise into their vehicles, replenishes shelves, and helps safely move merchandise for staff and customers. This role also maintains a clean, safe, and stocked store environment.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and answer questions.
- Retrieve, load, and replenish merchandise.
- Assist customers and staff in moving merchandise safely.
- Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and product availability.
- Lift merchandise up to 25 pounds without assistance; may lift >25 pounds with or without assistance.
- Occasional travel to meetings, training, or support neighboring stores.
- Work scheduled hours (39–40 hours/week full time or up to 25 hours/week part time) with availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week.
Physical tasks include prolonged standing, sitting, and repetitive lifting and moving of merchandise. The role requires the ability to meet the physical demands of the store environment.
Minimum Qualifications- 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
- 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
- Ability to obtain sales‑related licensure or registration as may be required by law.
- 6 months retail experience.
- 6 months experience as a Loader at a home improvement or hardware retailer.
- 6 months experience working in any department at a Lowe’s retail store.
- 6 months retail merchandising experience (zone recovery, stocking, down‑stocking, facing/fronting, pricing, signage, housekeeping).
- 6 months experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.
Pay Range: $15.00 – $15.60 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on location, education, training, and experience.
