Job Description:
Meat Cutter for Specialty Store in Belleville, IL
We are seeking a skilled meat cutter to join our team at our specialty store in Belleville, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in meat cutting as well as inventory management.
Responsibilities:- Cut and prepare various types of meat according to customer requests and specifications
- Ensure that all meat is properly stored and labeled
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Assist with pricing and stocking of meat products
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned
- Provide excellent customer service and answer any questions regarding meat products
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Previous experience in meat cutting
- Strong knowledge of different types of meat and cuts
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail
