Job Summary

Across distance learning, apprenticeship and on‑site training at our global headquarters, the Advisor Mastery Program (AMP) prepares the next generation of Raymond James Financial Advisors. The AMP delivers a holistic curriculum that blends technical, sales, and client‑service skills, enabling new Advisors to build an individual practice and thrive as stand‑alone agents or part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet production targets that impact overall company revenue goals.
  • Develop a book of business in line with AMP program goals for assets under management and required production.
  • Provide high‑level client service, managing the full scope of a client relationship by evaluating financial needs, investment opportunities, holdings, and capital.
  • Help clients identify investment objectives and communicate portfolio opportunities, preserving loyalty.
  • Build client pipeline through prospecting, networking, community engagement, centers of influence, and niche development.
  • Recommend suitable investment products, solutions, and services based on client needs, time horizon, risk profile, and preferences.
  • Leverage internal resources to identify investment opportunities for clients.
  • Open, transfer, and close customer accounts; maintain records; monitor portfolio performance.
  • Enter purchase and sale instructions, verify orders, and follow up on transaction completion.
  • Complete program training, obtain mandatory industry licenses within prescribed time frames, master assessments, and meet minimum performance and production standards.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of investment products, industry rules, and financial planning.
  • Operate client‑relationship‑manager systems and other required software (financial plans, correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, databases).
  • Effectively communicate with all organizational levels; keep parties informed of decisions and changes.
  • Build and sustain effective relationships with clients and colleagues; demonstrate resilience, persistence, and professionalism.
  • Represent Raymond James in the community, marketing the firm and yourself.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience demonstrating achievement in sales (preferably intangibles) or a business environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • SIE exam required, must be obtained within four (4) months of program start unless exempted.
  • Series7 and Series
    66 licenses (or ability to obtain them within four (4) months).
  • Life, Health, and Variable Annuity license (or ability to obtain within six (6) months).
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $31,200.00–$70,000.00. Total compensation may include base salary and additional components such as cash or equity bonuses and commissions. Eligible for benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, critical‑illness insurance, accident insurance, disability benefits, retirement savings, paid time off, and parental leave.

Workstyle & Travel
  • Resident location required.
  • Travel: less than 25%.
