Job Description

Absolute Clean & Restoration Inc. is seeking a versatile and skilled Remodeling Carpenter to join our award‑winning team. This hands‑on role is ideal for a true craftsman with experience across flooring, drywall, trim work, and door installations. You’ll work on a wide variety of remodeling and restoration projects, taking pride in detailed, high‑quality work that exceeds client expectations.

• Install and repair hardwood, laminate, and tile flooring with a focus on durability and finish.
• Hang, tape, patch, and finish drywall to high visual standards.
• Perform professional plaster repairs as part of restoration and remodeling projects.
• Install trim and molding, including baseboards, crown, and casings, with precision.
• Replace doors and frames to ensure structural fit, alignment, and operability.
• Interpret and execute work orders and Xactimate estimates accurately.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments, following OSHA and company safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members on project scopes and updates.
• Assist with emergency water, mold, and fire services, including salvage and demolition support.
• Provide support during extreme weather events with emergency board‑ups and mitigation.

• Proven hands‑on experience in flooring, drywall, plaster, trim, and door replacement.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools (e.g., saws, drills, sanders, nail guns).
• Strong attention to detail, especially in finish carpentry.
• Ability to interpret drawings, work orders, and restoration estimates.
• Physically able to lift, bend, kneel, and work in variable environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Vocational training, apprenticeship, or trade certification.
• Experience in general remodeling including kitchens and baths.
• Basic knowledge of electrical/plumbing related to trim and door work.

Full‑Time:
Monday‑Friday (with occasional flexibility based on project timelines or emergency service needs).

Belleville, IL and surrounding service areas across Southwest Illinois.
