This is a Direct Hire opportunity. You will join our client’s team as a permanent employee from day one, providing essential operational support for a high-value portfolio of commercial and medical office spaces.
Compensation &Role Overview
- Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 / annually + Bonus
- Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
- Location: Belleville, NJ
The Property Administrator plays a vital role in the daily operations and administrative success of a diverse portfolio, specifically focusing on medical and commercial office properties. You will serve as the primary point of coordination between tenants, vendors, and the management team, ensuring that property standards are met and administrative workflows remain seamless.
Key Responsibilities- Tenant Relations: Act as the first point of contact for tenant inquiries, maintenance requests, and lease questions, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Administrative Operations: Maintain accurate tenant files, insurance certificates, and property records to ensure compliance and organization.
- Financial Support: Assist with rent collections, processing accounts payable/receivable, and preparing monthly delinquency reports.
- Vendor Coordination: Solicit bids for service contracts, schedule building inspections, and coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure work orders are completed.
- Lease Administration: Support the management team in tracking lease expirations, preparing renewal documents, and assisting with move-in/move-out procedures.
- Facility Oversight: Conduct regular property walkthroughs to ensure the physical integrity and cleanliness of medical and office suites.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in Commercial Property Administration or Assistant Property Management (Medical office experience is a significant plus).
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field (Preferred).
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in property management software (such as Yardi, App Folio, or MRI) and Microsoft Office Suite. - Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with medical professionals and corporate tenants.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
