Required Certifications and Licenses- Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

The Registered Nurse organizes and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit. The RN supports the philosophy, objectives, mission, and vision of Clara Maass Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, ANA Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Dept. of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies.
Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning and unit performance improvement evaluation activities.
