- Advanced Diploma in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience working in Post Anesthesia Care Unit
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
Preferred: BSN
Certifications and Licenses Required- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
- ACLS
- PALS
- Day Shift
- Per Diem
- Scheduled as needed with a minimum requirement of 2 shifts a month
- Must work 1 major holiday and 1 minor holiday per year
- Provide nursing care in the health care system within scope of practice, assuring awareness of ethical standards of practice.
- Ensure safety in practice, inclusive of evidence-based practice principles by maintaining personal knowledge and advancing knowledge of self and others in the patient care team.
- Report identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
- Knowledge of patient population served.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to appropriate team members, collaborating with other patient care providers.
- Set and evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
- Act as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, integrating all aspects of care and individualizing the plan of care to address patient needs.
