• Advanced Diploma in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience working in Post Anesthesia Care Unit
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

Preferred: BSN

• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
• ACLS
• PALS

• Day Shift
• Per Diem
• Scheduled as needed with a minimum requirement of 2 shifts a month
• Must work 1 major holiday and 1 minor holiday per year

• Provide nursing care in the health care system within scope of practice, assuring awareness of ethical standards of practice.
• Ensure safety in practice, inclusive of evidence-based practice principles by maintaining personal knowledge and advancing knowledge of self and others in the patient care team.
• Report identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Knowledge of patient population served.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to appropriate team members, collaborating with other patient care providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
• Act as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, integrating all aspects of care and individualizing the plan of care to address patient needs.
