Clara Maass Medical Center, located in Belleville, is a facility of RWJBarnabas Health offering comprehensive care including advanced wound care, sleep disorders, bariatrics, orthopedics, cardiac services, cancer care, and emergency services. The medical center completed a state‑of‑the‑art expansion in 2017 featuring a new 87,000 square foot building with a private 32‑bed ICU, a new main entrance, lobby, retail pharmacy, and an expanded emergency department.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate degree in nursing
• Obtain ACLS Certification within six (6) months of hire

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
• Minimum two (2) years RN experience working in Critical Care or Telemetry

• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
• BLS certification through American Heart Association

• Night Shift – 7:00pm – 7:30am
• Part‑Time
• Every other weekend required; weekday schedule varies by department needs

The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and administers individualized, age‑specific professional care to patients within the assigned unit, supporting medical care. The RN upholds the philosophy, objectives, mission, and vision of Clara Maass Medical Center and the Nursing Department, practices according to the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements, and other regulatory agencies, participates in patient teaching, discharge planning, and unit performance improvement evaluation activities.
