Facility:
Clara Maass Medical Center, 1 CLARA MAASS DRIVE, BELLEVILLE, NJ 07109

Shift: Night (7:00 pm-7:30 am), 25 hours per week, every other weekend required.

Pay Range: $47.62 – $63.73 per hour (NJ).

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Associate degree in nursing
  • Obtain ACLS Certification within six (6) months of hire

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and demonstrated writing skills
  • Minimum two (2) years RN experience working in Critical Care or Telemetry
Certifications and Licenses Required
  • Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
  • BLS certification through American Heart Association
Scheduling Requirements
  • Part-Time
  • 25 hours per week
  • Night Shift
  • 7:00 pm - 7:30 am
  • Every other weekend required. Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs
Essential Functions

The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and mission of the department and the practice standards of the State Nurse Practice Act, ANA Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements, and other regulatory agencies.

Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning and unit performance improvement evaluation activities.
