Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position
Job DescriptionVale Steel Construction is currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Welder / Metal Fabricator to join their team in Bellevue WA. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess the following:
- Ability to read and analyse blueprints and drawings
- Experience using TIG and MIG welders
- Examining welds for bead width, penetration, and precision
- Ability to weld vertically, horizontally, and overhead
- Welding various metals using various techniques
- Cutting, rolling, shaping, bending, moulding, spinning, heating or hammering metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies
- Heat treating metal parts and components
- Setting up and operating hand and machine tools, welding equipment
- Assembling parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding, bolting, or riveting
- Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing or bathing them in acid solutions, or by applying protective or decorative coatings.
- Certificate III in Engineering (Welding Fabrication) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of three years’ experience in this role or similar
- Ability to work in a team environment
Salary range: $70,000-$85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
