Welder​/Metal Fabricator

Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position

Vale Steel Construction is currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Welder / Metal Fabricator to join their team in Bellevue WA. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess the following:

• Ability to read and analyse blueprints and drawings
• Experience using TIG and MIG welders
• Examining welds for bead width, penetration, and precision
• Ability to weld vertically, horizontally, and overhead
• Welding various metals using various techniques
• Cutting, rolling, shaping, bending, moulding, spinning, heating or hammering metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies
• Heat treating metal parts and components
• Setting up and operating hand and machine tools, welding equipment
• Assembling parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding, bolting, or riveting
• Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing or bathing them in acid solutions, or by applying protective or decorative coatings.

• Certificate III in Engineering (Welding Fabrication) or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of three years’ experience in this role or similar
• Ability to work in a team environment

Salary range: $70,000-$85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
