• Provide quality nursing care and services to residents in a respectful and dignified manner.
• Coordinate physical, social, and emotional aspects of assisted living care in accordance with physician orders and residents’ choices.
• Execute the medication management plan, including periodic review of documentation, observation of effectiveness, and communication to the physician when changes are needed.
• Continuously assess resident needs and update appropriate individuals regarding changes in condition.
• Implement measures to ensure resident wellness and safety, documenting those measures appropriately.
• Work as part of a team to meet resident needs.
• Respond to emergencies in a timely, calm, and competent manner.
• Report incidents and changes in resident condition to the Healthcare Director with proper documentation.
• Actively participate in all activities, including community events.
• Assist with delivery of meals in the dining room, monitor resident acceptance of diets, and ensure adequate nutrition.
• Maintain high standards of record keeping, resident, and staff documentation.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all departments.
• Identify risk factors for residents and initiate appropriate interventions with documentation.
• Provide a thorough report of resident status to the incoming nursing team at each shift change and in the Daily Log.
• Motivate and direct CNAs/RMAs as needed.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, practice proper body mechanics, and use safe resident‑transferring techniques.
• Maintain attendance policies; report to work on time and prepared for duty.
• Complete all other assigned duties.
• Be certified or willing to obtain the required state certification.
• Attend required trainings, CEU’s, and staff meetings.

• Current LPN license in good standing with the state Board of Nursing.
• Experience working with the senior population, preferably in assisted living or long‑term care.
• Team player with experience supervising staff.
• Strong critical‑thinking skills and effective verbal and written communication.
• Time‑management and organizational skills.
• Good physical condition; able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work an 8–16 hour flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to attend all required trainings, CEU’s, and staff meetings.
• Willingness to obtain the required state certification.
