Mechanical Designer 1 – Design the Future with Cyclonaire!

About the RoleAs a Mechanical Designer 1, you will use Solid Works and PDM Vault to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, develop assembly drawings for customers and production, collaborate with engineers to bring designs from concept to completion, manage design timelines, ensure drawings align with fabrication techniques and design standards, and provide drafting support and technical schematics.
What You’ll Do- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Solid Works and PDM Vault
- Develop top-level assembly drawings for customers and production
- Collaborate with engineers to bring designs from concept to completion
- Manage design timelines to meet project deadlines
- Ensure drawings align with fabrication techniques and design standards
- Provide drafting support, documentation, and technical schematics
- Associate degree in Computer-Aided Design Drafting or 1–2 years of related experience
- Experience with Solid Works, ACAD, or other 3D CAD tools
- Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and dimensioning methods
- Great communication, problem-solving, and critical‑thinking skills
- Familiarity with industrial equipment, metal fabrication, and design processes
