Applications are being accepted for a 7 hour per day Special Education Life Skills Paraprofessional position at Bellevue East High School. The special education paraprofessional works under the direction and supervision of a teacher or other designated member of the school staff. The paraprofessional helps special education students acquire skills and competencies taught by the classroom teacher.

Responsibilities include supervising and working with students both one on one and in small groups when needed; assisting the teacher in the classroom; lifting, providing physical assistance; assisting in the lunchroom, toileting, transportation, and recreational activities throughout the building.

Qualifications:
