Key Qualifications &

Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Nebraska (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working in resource classroom settings, ideally at the elementary and/or middle school level
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Solid communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Positive approach to problem-solving and adapting to students unique needs
• Ability to provide engaging, differentiated instruction to support diverse learners

Role Expectations & Duties:

• Deliver high-quality instruction and intervention in resource classrooms
• Develop, review, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education staff, related services, and families to support student success
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and encouraging classroom environment
• Attend IEP meetings and staff development sessions as required
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all district and state regulations
