Graduate Assistants are hired at Chadron State College to assist in meeting the vision and goals established for CSC. Strategic deployment of graduate assistant positions is essential to ensure that limited resources are utilized in a manner consistent with the philosophy of CSC. Graduate assistants provide experiential learning in select areas and to assist the individual in a successful transition to future educational and professional opportunities.
Examplesof Work Performed
- Work at Food Pantry during assigned hours.
- Collect student information and restock items.
- Create monthly reports of Food Pantry data.
- Content creation of Food Pantry social media accounts.
- Assist in collaborating, planning, and executing Food Pantry event during the Academic Year.
- Take inventory of Food Pantry stock.
- Create shopping lists and procure items.
- Assist with hydroponic garden tower maintenance for Food Pantry produce.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Completed Bachelor's degree.
- Conditionally accepted or accepted application to CSC graduate program.
- Work on the Chadron State College main campus.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with CSC's policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with pivot tables.

Salary Information $5,760 per semester plus tuition waiver (student fees not included).
