Applications are being accepted for a 7‑hour per day Special Education Resource Paraprofessional position at Bellevue East High School. The special education paraprofessional works under the direction and supervision of a teacher or other designated member of the school staff and helps students acquire skills and competencies taught by the classroom teacher.

• Supervise and work with students one‑on‑one and in small groups, as needed.
• Assist the teacher in the classroom.
• Provide lifting support and physical assistance to students.
• Assist in lunchroom operations, toileting, transportation, and recreational activities throughout the building.

The position is subject to veterans preference. Duty hours are typically Monday through Friday, from 7:40 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. If the schedule does not fit your availability, you may discuss options for flexible hours if selected for an interview.
