Special Education Resource Paraprofessional (LM)
LeMay Elementary School, Bellevue, Nebraska
Responsibilities- Assist special education students to acquire skills and competencies taught by the classroom teacher.
- Supervise students one‑on‑one and in small groups as needed.
- Support the teacher in classroom instruction.
- Provide physical assistance, including lifting and transportation.
- Assist with lunchroom activities, toileting, and recreation.
- Aide with transportation and recreational activities throughout the school building.
- Capable of regularly attending to assigned duties for the duration of the assignment.
- Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety of self or others, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Veterans preference applies to this position.
The position is 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Flexible hours may be discussed if selected for interview.
