Overview

Omaha School of Music and Dance (OSMD) is seeking a Dance Teacher for the 2026-27 season. Candidates with a degree in Dance or at least a couple of years of teaching experience are preferred, though all are welcome to apply.

• Teach dance classes during weekday evenings.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the style(s) of instruction.
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with tuition billing, scheduling, and make‑up lessons.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and scheduling.
• Collaborate with OSMD administrative staff to support the overall operation of the program.

• Experience teaching Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Jazz, or any combination of the styles listed.
• Strong organizational, punctuality, reliability, and a fun personality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
