This job is for a 7‑hour per day Special Education Resource Paraprofessional Behavior Interventionist position at Fort Crook Elementary.

The special education paraprofessional works under the direction of a teacher or designated staff member.

Duties include:

• Assisting special education students in acquiring skills and competencies taught by the classroom teacher
• Supervising and working with students one‑on‑one and in small groups as needed
• Providing physical assistance, lifting, and support during lunchroom, toileting, transportation, and recreational activities across the building
• Assisting the teacher in the classroom

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
• Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety of self or others, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position for the duration of the assignment

Duty hours:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
