Job DescriptionApplications are being accepted for a 6‑hour‑per‑day Early Childhood Special Education Paraprofessional position at Elementary School. Duties include working with students in small groups and individually under the direction of the teacher. Candidate must be able to lift, give physical assistance when necessary, and assist in lunchroom responsibilities, toileting, transportation, and recreational activities.
Requires 6 hrs of college credit in Early Childhood Education. The candidate must complete an additional 6 hours of college credit in Early Childhood Education within one year of hire date. Required qualifications are that the applicant does not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned and for the duration of the assignment.
This position is subject to a veterans preference. Duty hours are typically Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Starting date:
Aug 10, 2026.
