Applications are being accepted for a 7-hour-per-day Preschool Special Education Paraprofessional position at Betz Elementary School. Duties include working with students in small groups and individually under the teacher's direction. The candidate must be able to lift and provide physical assistance when necessary; assist with lunchroom responsibilities, toileting, transportation, and recreational activities. Requires 48 hrs of college credit (6 of those in Early Childhood Education).

The candidate must complete an additional 6 hours in Early Childhood Education within a year of the hire date. Required qualifications are that the applicant not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned and for the duration of the assignment.
