Job DescriptionApplications are being accepted for a 7 hour per day Special Education Resource Paraprofessional position at Betz Elementary School. Duties include working with students in small groups and individually under the direction of the teacher. Candidate must be able to lift, give physical assistance when necessary; assist in lunchroom responsibilities, toileting, transportation, and in recreational activities. The state of Nebraska requires applicants to have 2 years of college completed.
Required qualifications are that the applicant not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned and for the duration of the assignment. This position is subject to a veterans preference.
