Bellevue, NE | Hiring Rate: $21.149

Wage Information: $24.149‑$31.224 (Base $21.149‑$28.224 + $3.00 differential + $1.00‑$1.75 Shift Differentials). Rate based on verified experience and licensure.

  • PM Shift: 2:15pm‑10:45pm
  • NOC Shift: 10:30pm‑7:00am

Position Details:
Full Time or Part Time on a skilled nursing unit with a two‑week block schedule and every‑other weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

Under immediate supervision of an RN or designee, provide basic nursing care, administer medications, and apply treatments for members within the scope of the Nebraska Medication Aide Act, State of Nebraska Nursing Assistant regulations, and agency regulations. Train, mentor, coach, and assist with the orientation of new Staff Care Technicians and perform related work as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Completed a State approved 76‑hour nurse aide training course and competency evaluation program.
  • Must be listed on the Nebraska Nurse Aide Registry.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services;
    Nebraska Medication Aide Act, medication administration and adverse medication reactions; regulations governing nursing assistants; practices and principles of providing basic nursing assistance; infection control practices; HIPAA regulations; abuse and neglect identification and prevention; safety principles; privacy and dignity principles.
  • Skill in providing basic nursing assistance, administering medications; developing positive relationship with others.
  • Ability to recognize adverse medication reactions and take appropriate action; follow oral and written instructions precisely; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and push/pull up to 75 lbs daily; frequently bend at the waist and neck, twist at the waist, and stand/walk up to 90% of the shift.
