The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Command Knowledge and Information Management Branch Chief, GG-2210-14 at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, Nebraska.

Salary Range: $127,933 – $165,148 based on experience

Relocation or recruitment incentive may be available.

• Head the Data & Knowledge Innovation Solutions Branch in a supervisory role, guiding a high performing team responsible for collaboration, digital modernization, and enterprise information sharing across the Command.
• Shape IT strategy, oversee complex systems integration efforts, and influence senior decision makers on future capabilities.
• Lead technical teams, improve processes, and deliver digital solutions to make a strategic impact at the highest levels.

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Clearance.
• This is a designated Drug Testing Position.
• Expert knowledge of and skill in the analysis of military information systems, their interaction, and their impact on global combatant command operations.
• Expert knowledge of a wide range of IT principles and systems analysis concepts and techniques, new and emerging information technologies, security methods and principles to apply internet technologies to analyze networks and the related security aspects and predict how management can meet future requirements.
• Knowledge of customers  business processes and operations to anticipate and refine functional requirements.
• Knowledge of design tools, methods, and techniques as well as life cycle management concepts, cost benefit analysis, system architecture, integration techniques, and testing methods.
• Knowledge of customary approaches to analyze requirements, develop acquisition strategies, and implement systems enhancements.
• Skill to organize and lead study teams tasked to originate new ideas, projects, and methodologies.
• Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization.
• Ability to interpret manpower documents and accurately connect personnel records to manpower and funding data elements.
• Cyberspace Qualification is a condition of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Information Assurance certification within 6 months of assigned duties.
• U.S. citizenship required. Must be of legal work age.
