Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is hiring a Plant Superintendent to play a key leadership role at our new degumming facility in David City, Nebraska. This position reports directly to the Plant Operations Manager and is responsible for leading day-to-day plant operations, driving safe and efficient production, and developing a high-performing team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in an operational environment, enjoys building processes, and takes pride in running a safe, efficient plant.
** What You’ll Do
*** Lead daily plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production.
* Inspect equipment, troubleshoot issues, coordinate shutdowns, and communicate effectively with operations, maintenance, and management.
* Monitor production output and quality, ensuring standards are consistently met.
* Oversee equipment performance and ensure preventative maintenance practices are followed.
* Train, supervise, and develop plant employees by:  + Scheduling work and assigning responsibilities  + Monitoring quality and productivity  + Conducting performance evaluations  + Addressing employee relations and disciplinary matters as needed
* Develop and manage operational and improvement projects.
* Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
* Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
* Participate in company meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
** What We’re Looking For
*** High school diploma or equivalent required.
* ** 3+ years of supervisory or plant leadership experience** (manufacturing, processing, or industrial environment preferred).
* Experience or knowledge of
** refined oil processing or degumming operations
** strongly preferred.
* Working knowledge of
** OSHA and EPA regulations
** related to plant operations.
* Proven ability to lead, train, motivate, and hold teams accountable.
* Strong problem-solving skills with analytical thinking and solid organizational abilities.
* Hands-on comfort operating industrial machinery, hand and power tools, and standard office equipment.
* Proficiency in
** Microsoft Word and Excel**; experience with
** AutoCAD
* * is a plus.
* Strong communication skills with a professional, respectful leadership style.
* Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and remain flexible when priorities shift.
