Pay & Benefits
Starting pay is $23.40/hour (plus shift differential, if applicable). Year 2 = $26.74, Year 3 = $28.41, Year 4 = $33.43. First year salary is $70K+ with overtime, with overtime potential to $85K+ per year. Excellent wages, benefits and product discounts.
Job SummaryWork in a variety of areas, operating high‑speed manufacturing production equipment in processing and packaging to produce Milk‑Bone products for the company. Positions are afternoon and evening; shifts can alternate weekly and assigned shift attendance and weekend work is required. Follow all company safety rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Produce high‑quality products in a safe and healthful manner while operating machinery, being in close proximity to and crossing platforms over equipment.

- Produce high‑quality products while operating high‑speed manufacturing equipment.
- Operate, be in close proximity to, and cross platforms over machinery.
- Assist fellow employees as needed and work as part of a team.
- Complete cross‑training throughout the facility in all aspects of high‑speed manufacturing.
- 3+ years related manufacturing experience or equivalent technical/vocational experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, highly motivated and responsible, works well within a team environment.
- Use of computers and PLCs in an industrial manufacturing environment is preferred.
High‑school degree or equivalent is required. Associate degree preferred.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMPs and general instructions. Good communication skills are required.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out both oral and written instructions.
Physical Demands- Stand and walk at least 70% of the shift.
- Work 8‑hour shifts with some shifts up to 16 hours.
- Lift up to 50 pounds; squat, kneel and bend frequently.
- Work in warm or cold environments and tolerate exposure to flour and yeast materials.
- Climb steps frequently.
Employee must have the ability to perform the essential job functions identified above in accordance with safety standards and practices, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Work EnvironmentThe position is located in a bakery, a high‑temperature environment, especially in the summer months. The employee will spend the majority of the shift on feet and walking, in a loud noise environment that requires hearing protection and other personal protective equipment.
