The Load Out Operator uses heavy equipment to load outbound trucks with finished products and is responsible for ensuring a steady flow of material for processing.

• Operate yard and plant equipment to load materials.
• Maintain raw material mixtures at proper moisture content.
• Coordinate with operator to ensure efficient drying rate.
• Perform daily maintenance on loader before each shift.
• Wash plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas using a high-pressure power washer.
• Perform general cleaning as needed in work areas.
• Keep area clean and keep raw materials piled out of driving area.
• Maintain safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
• Review and evaluate qualitative data reports to verify that product meets company specifications.
• All other duties as assigned.

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in loader operations within a production environment.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.

• Experience working in a rendering operation preferred.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers).
• Good oral and written communication skills, able to follow directions.
• Ability to review and comprehend qualitative data reports to verify product meets specifications.
• Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.

Working Environment:
Exposure to high noise levels, strong odors, heat and cold, bio‑hazardous conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals requiring safety precautions, electrical hazards and risk of shock, handling dangerous equipment, and travel to off‑site locations.

Physical Demands:

• Sit: Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
• Walk: Must be able to move about inside or outside the work location.
• Use hands to finger, handle or feel: Operates a computer and other office machinery.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl: Must be able to position oneself to maintain computers in the lab, including under desks and in the server closet.
• Climb or balance: Must be able to ascend/descend on a ladder.
• Talk, hear, taste, smell: Must be able to use senses to effectively communicate with co‑workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions.
• Weight and force demands: up to 10 pounds, up to 25 pounds, up to 50 pounds, up to 100 pounds, more than 100 pounds.
