Utility Worker - 3rd Shift

Responsible for performing duties related to production and meeting shipping deadlines. This position also ensures the cleanliness of the plant and equipment.

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
• Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting and wrapping.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Start machines or equipment to begin production processes.
• Observe equipment operations to detect malfunctions and notify operators, supervisors or maintenance.
• Remove products or waste material from machines.
• Lift raw materials, finished products and packed items manually.
• Transfer finished product and raw material between storage and work areas by hand or using a forklift.
• Pack and store materials and products.
• Mark and tag products.
• Dump materials into machine hoppers prior to mixing.
• Mix ingredients according to specified procedures or formulas.
• Assist with other duties as requested at any level or proficiency.
• Know, implement and delegate FSMS responsibilities as required.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness and ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, crawl, push or pull items in a fast‑paced environment with varying temperatures and potentially slippery surfaces.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
