Job Description
A Utility Worker is responsible for loading and unloading of raw material/finished product as well as cleanliness of plant and equipment.

- Loadsand unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
- Operatesmachinery used in production process orassistmachine operators.
- Placesproducts in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing,inspecting and wrapping
- Examinesproducts to verify conformance to quality standards
- Startsmachines or equipment to begin production processes
- Observesequipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators,supervisoror maintenance of any malfunctions
- Removesproducts or waste material from machines
- Liftsraw materials, finished products and packed items, manually
- Transfersfinished productorraw material between storage and work areas of plant by hand or using forklift
- Packsand storesmaterials and products
- Marksand tagsproducts
- Disposesmaterials into machine hoppers prior to mixing
- Mixesingredients according to specified procedures or formulas
- Required to know, implement and delegate FSMS responsibilities as required.
- Uses high pressure hose to wash parking lot, plant equipment, and surrounding areas of plant including spilled material on lot
- Paints and washes plant equipment and building fixtures as necessary
- Required to use standard hand tools (hammer, screw driver , wrenches, etc.) and power tools (drills, impact drivers, saws, etc.)
- Operates company vehicles around plant and property
- Ensures steady flow of raw material from trailers to dock in safe and efficient manner
- Checks and reports condition of raw material load and truck interior
- Maintains safety as top priority in accordance withall company safety rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned

- Must be at least
18years old with clean MVR

- Frequently exposed to high noise levels, strong odors, varying temperatures, and biohazardous conditions.
- Travel to off-site locations is required.
- Requires prolonged sitting and frequent walking/movement, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb or balance.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and identify potential workplace hazards.
- Requires the ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 100lbs.

- Frequently-Exposed to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environments such as high noise level, strong odors, and/or exposure to heat and cold
- Frequently-Exposed to bio hazardous conditions
- Frequently-Exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals which mandate attention to safety considerations
- N/A-Exposed to Electrical hazards; risk of electrical shock
- Frequently-Handles or works with potentially dangerous equipment
- Constantly-Travels to offsite locations
- Constantly-Must be able to remain in a stationary position (Sit)
- Constantly-Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location (Walk)
- Occasionally-Operatesa computer and other office machinery (Use hands to finger, handle or feel)
- Constantly-Must be able to position one’s self tomaintaincomputers in the lab, including under desks and in the server closet (Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl)
- Constantly-Must be able to ascend/descend on a ladder (Climb or balance)
- Constantly-Must be able to use senses to; effectively communicate with co-workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions(Talk, hear, taste, smell)
