Job Description:

This operating room registered nurse contract is centered around orthopedic cases, making it a great fit for nurses comfortable with heavy orthopedic surgical procedures. You’ll work in a busy, 6-room surgical suite performing 15-20 cases daily. The schedule includes four 10-hour day shifts, with opportunities to assist in precepting and orienting new staff and travelers. This role emphasizes teamwork and precision, with a focus on orthopedic, general surgery, endoscopic procedures, and other specialties like plastics and urology.

Holiday and weekend call responsibilities are required—though no overnight or weekend shifts are on the schedule, call is essential for off-hours coverage. The environment calls for flexibility and a proactive approach to patient throughput in a teaching and community hospital setting.
