The lab’s focus is to understand how the brain supports complex behavior. We focus on how connectivity and communication between different areas of the brain underlies these processes. We use network neuroscience to examine structural and functional features of the brain in conjunction with several other techniques including multivariate pattern analysis, graph theory, and machine learning. Our research also explores interventions to improve brain health and cognition.
One area of focus is nutrition and how nutrition interacts with the brain and behavior. You can learn more about our research on our lab webpage: https://dschultz
