As a Regional Sales Manager (Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas) for LBDS’s Biofuels Division, you will be at the forefront of innovation in renewable energy, helping clients optimize their biofuel production with cutting‑edge solutions such as yeast, enzymes, antimicrobials, and nutrients. Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship & Sales Growth:
Build strong, long‑term partnerships with biofuel industry clients and lead technical sales initiatives that deliver tailored solutions. - Strategic Account Management:
Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for key accounts, ensuring value creation and profitability. - Commercial & Technical Leadership:
Present financial models, propose trials, and manage contracts (NDAs, MTAs, Supply Agreements) to support business objectives. - Performance Monitoring & Issue Resolution:
Track sales and product performance, investigate issues, and collaborate with technical teams for solutions. - Market Engagement & Representation:
Represent LBDS at trade shows, conferences, and industry events while providing market insights to support business development.
- Strong technical knowledge of chemical processes related to biofuel production.
- Degree in Business, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales or biofuels industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and statistical analysis tools.
- Ability to develop and interpret financial models.
- Experience negotiating and managing contracts.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Active listening and consultative selling approach.
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, results‑driven mindset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes environment.

Additional Requirements:
This role involves significant travel – approximately 50% to 75% of your time – across the region and occasionally internationally. Travel is essential for building strong client relationships, conducting on‑site visits, and representing LBDS at key industry events and trade shows.
